Ans: The main difference between the group home an the traditional nursing homes is the level of care provided. Nursing home provides care for residents with high acuity and the group home has less acute residents. At the group home an individual’s independence is promoted and there is more freedom to operate compared to the traditional nursing home system.

Ans: We encourage pet visits! Depending on the vaccination records, we may allow the pet to live in the residential care home.
Ans: You are welcome to come and visit your loved one as often as you like. You can visit as early as 9 am and stay as late as 7 pm. We kindly ask that you call the home ahead of time to let the caregivers know when to expect your arrival.
Ans: Our calendar is filled with a wide range of activities, crafts, and local events. Our residents enjoy going to the movies, bowling, shopping, volunteering at community centers when needed for events, going to the zoo, hosting our monthly group dinners and birthday parties, and going to the beauty salon and barber shop. We allow our residents to provide inputs on their needs, wants, and desires to help create the perfect activity schedule and menu. You can always ask the House Manager for a copy if they haven’t already provided it to you. We encourage support coordinators, families, and guardians to join us in the community Our Activities Director will visit the home three times a week to conduct activities with any residents who are interested and want to participate. House manager conducts daily activity in the absence of activity director.
